Step 1: Styling nozzle
Dry without the damage
Turn the head to 90° and start on towel-dried hair. Too much heat strips moisture before you have even started styling, so keep it at a middle setting and let the speed carry the water out.
Tip. Point the nozzle down the hair shaft, root to tip, so the cuticle lies flat.

Step 2: Left + right curling barrels
Shape it while it is warm
Hair holds a new shape best when it is still a little warm and pliable. Hold a section near the barrel and it wraps on its own. Count to eight, then press Cool Shot before letting it go, which is what makes the curl last.
Tip. Work from the nape upwards, in sections no wider than the barrel.

Step 3: Anti-flyaway nozzle · final pass
Lay the flyaways down
This comes last, once everything is dry and styled. Static is what lifts the fine strands around the crown and along the part. One slow pass over the surface smooths them back without flattening the shape you just made.
Tip. Hold it just above the hair rather than in it, so curls keep their spring.
